Nike Air 3 LE ‘Kevin Garnett’ - White/Hyper Blue

When Kevin Garnett was still signed to Nike Basketball he had a strong history of signature sneakers including the Nike Garnett 3 which has now been retro-ed only with a different name, the Nike Air 3 LE. You can pick these up now at select Nike retailers as well as the Kix-Files Online Store.

Nike Sportswear x Ben Drury - Air Max 90 Current - Silent Listener Edition

After the immensely successful Air Max 90 “Tongue n’ Cheek” Edition, Nike Sportswear partnered with British-base artist Ben Drury in creating the new Air Max 90 Current “Silent Listener”. A reference to the City of London and the long quiet evening strolls Drury love, the Silent Listener focus of the city’s sense of duality, from vibrant urban center to countryside like suburbia. Factors all visible on the design, from muted black upper to to the single D-ring eyelet, and tubular laces in bright blue.As Ben Drury stated, “The partnership came about to celebrate a long term 3 way collaboration between myself, Dizzee and Nike Sportswear, kind of joining the dots. However, as it developed, Dizzee’s shoe, which I co-created, became more about his album (Tongue n’ Cheek), which was totally where he was at that time. I channeled that in the same way I work with him when I design his sleeves. His Air Max 90 became the “Tongue n’ Cheek”, mine became the “Silent Listener”. It was designed as a counterpoint to Dizzee’s Air Max 90. Walk with me. Traversing the city. I walk in London like I walk on Dartmoor. Using waypoints, landmarks, and local knowledge. The city as a landscape. Distances shrink with the right footwear.”Limited to only 125 pairs, the Air Max 90 Current “Silent Listener” Edition will be officially launched as of December 11th, exclusively available at Nike Sportswear 1948 Flagship Store in London

Nike Zoom Kobe V (5) - Bruce Lee Edition

Martial artist and actor Bruce Lee is a legend who popularized the action movies which focused on real action rather than Hollywood fiction. Though his career was cut short by a tragic accident his legacy still lives on till this day. One of the most famous movies which starred Bruce Lee was Enter the Dragon in which he showcased his fighting skills and also it was the last movie that featured Lee as he passed away before the release of the film.Nike Zoom Kobe V pays homage to the fallen star with the Bruce Lee edition sneaker taking inspiration from the most iconic colors of Bruce Lee. The yellow and black colorways are taken directly from the jumpsuit that Lee wore in the 1978 film “The Game of Death” and it is translated on the Laker’s yellow upper, laces and midsole with black accents and Swoosh. Another graphic symbol Lee is known for is the four blood red claw marks that signify the damage he took in the 1973 film “Enter The Dragon” and that is reflected on the side of the toe section and in the red color on the heel. These are part of the Spring/Summer 2010 collection set for global release and have been recently launched. via: Marqueesole

Air Jordan XI (11) Sample - White-Metallic Silver

As Jordan Brand continues their 25th anniversary, the celebration of the brand continues in the form of two collections that unified the colorways of the main releases from the past 25 years. One collection featured the entire line in white and red, while the more recent release was of the purest colorway possible – white on white. In what is arguable the most popular of all the 25 Jordan sneakers, the Air Jordan XII (11) is shown here in a frost-bite cold white on white colorway with clear soles. By reducing the colorway, the various contours and materials employed on the sneaker shine. In this case, the use of premium leather on the heel instead of smooth leather adds a textural contrast to the patent and nylon employed elsewhere. The clear soles are even accented by the checkered carbon-fiber structural element on the outsole.

With the release of the Air Jordan XI (11) “Space Jam” nearing, there has been increased attention towards this famed model, and this colorway, while it will likely never see any shelves in stores, is a welcome sight for Jordan fans who enjoy the unadulterated, direct styling of this model. Again, these are a sample, so don’t start calling your local Jordan Brand retailer. via: kinstor

Air Jordan 1 Retro High – Silver Anniversary

Jordan Brand is going into the holiday season with a lot of momentum. We’ve shown you some of the great collections based on the 25 year anniversary of the brand, and now we are finally seeing some of the anniversary items for sale. This Air Jordan I (1) Retro High model is a visual homage to the Silver anniversary, as the shoe is a silver color from the soles to the tongue. We’ve shown you previews of this model, and some detailed images, and now these Jordans, which feature crinkled silver material on the heel, collar, and toebox are available at e-retailer RMK. The inaugural model is the first to get the full anniversary treatment, as signified by the tongue logo that is both a vertical “23″ (his uniform number) and “25.” Also shown here is the ornate packaging, as the sneaker comes in a sleek silver briefcase complete with eggshell foam and the anniversary logo near the handle. Stay tuned to Freshness for more updates on other Air Jordan models that will be releasing to commemorate the 25 year anniversary.

Kanye West Foundation x Karmaloop - Kanye’s Closet - Autographed Items Auction

2009 has been an eventful year for Yeezy. First the launch of the highly coveted Nike Air Yeezy’s, then a collaboration line with Louis Vuitton, the VMA stint with Taylor Swift, cancellation of his tour with Lady Gaga…yet the year is not ending yet for Mister Kanye West. Sure the year had been filled with happy retail moments, creative moments and scandalous paparazzi-worthy time in the limelight, but Yeezy seems determined to wrap up 2009 on a good note. In comes a collaborative project between the Kanye West Foundation and retailer Karmaloop. The duo joined hands to create a fund raising auction where fans and lovers can purchase autographed items straight from Kanye’s Closet. Some of the hit items we have known and some have desired at one point of time or another includes an autographed copy of the Glow In The Dark book published by Rizzoli, an autographed “Loop Dreams” tee and a pair of autographed tan Nike Air Yeezy. All proceeds from the auction will go towards the Kanye West Foundation. For the unfamiliar, the Kanye West Foundation provides opportunity for young people to engage and participate in creative and performance arts. Why watch over ebay like a hawk and fork over your money to sneaker traders for a pair of Yeezy this year when you can pool your money for a better cause and earn Kanye’s autograph? Check out the auction items and put in your two cents (just metaphorically speaking) for a good deed. Santa will be proud.

Nike Blazer Hi AC - Dark Cinder

Nike Sportswear has released a new colorway of the Nike Blazer Hi AC in Dark Cinder and White. The Blazer Hi AC is a new version of the Blazer that is similar to the recently released Tier 0 Nike Blazer High Velcro Lux, both Blazer’s use a similar velcro enclosure system but the Blazer Hi AC actually does not use the Lux materials and additionally comes with more strucutre in the collar of the shoe. The Nike Blazer Hi AC is available now at 21 Mercer in New York.
