Culture Clash Nov. 11th 2008One of the many things that we do to is show a lot of support to the local scene. Culture Clash is exactly that. We decided to get involved with some local talent and put together something that would showcase and bridge gaps between genres like music and spoken word. All this is really about transcending the idea that groups should be separated, when clearly culture is all around us....
Nov. 11th 2008 marked our first crack at getting people together for a common purpose. Quoting 'the Matrix'; "Without purpose we would not exist. It is purpose that created us. Purpose that connects us. Purpose that pulls us, that guides us, that drives us. It is purpose that defines. Purpose that binds us." With that said, we had a pretty good turn out and even had some great performances. Poets from all over and a few musicians as well....
