If the question ever came up about who was the inspiration that influenced us into starting this business, the answer would be this half-man/half-machine, Marc Ecko. Any time I think of mogul, what goes into the mix is the amount of things that he involves himself with. From a multi-million dollar entity that is Marc Ecko Enterprises to all sorts of other ties that make him a genius in the industry. To think that all this started from 6 basic designs is crazy. You have to be a machine to get to where Ecko is, at this point. Several businesses under the lightning storm that is Ecko; Ecko Unlimited, Avirex, Zoo York, and Ecko Red; Then to not mention all of his philanthropic adventures with S.E.E., Tivka, Stoked, and of course Saving the Rhino. Ecko is definitely everywhere you least expect. His work could be found any time you watch Food Network and think "hey, the wardrobe on Iron Chef is crazy.", If your watching UFC and notice Micheal Bisping's new shirt, or even go to NY Jets Game and check out the Flight Crew. As much as I hate to say it, Ecko is the competition to every major and minor designer out there, but it does make us all strive to achieve even just a portion of where Ecko is at ...
